Photos for Review

These photos go along with a review I am posting elsewhere. There's no way to upload individual photos, so I want to make sure they are somewhere.

Pic 1: Start of a broken spin and the rips to the inner pocket.

Pic 2: Rip near the metal ring at the top.

Pic 3: Crack in binder that I've clearly shown by sliding a rewards card through.

Another Mess Up Due to Client's Lack of Instructions

This was written for a client, per their specs, who then said they "forgot" to tell me it had to be for a UK audience and therefore didn't want it unless I would rewrite it with UK English and terminology. I don't have time to rework it to their new guidelines so it's mine now.

How much of your kitchen space contains appliances you rarely use? Do you long for excess cupboard space, bare counters, and no clutter? If so, a minimalist kitchen is perfect for you.

With a minimalist kitchen, everything has a place. Only the essential appliances have a home within the kitchen. Best of all, the clean counters and organized cupboards make it fun to cook a meal and quickly clean up.

Beneficial Built Ins

Every kitchen needs three, possibly four depending on your floor plan, appliances. These appliances include an oven/stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, and possibly a washer dryer. While many homes have the washer and dryer in the mudroom or basement, they do appear in the kitchens of many apartments or mobile homes.

When it comes to a washer and dryer, there are space-saving combination units that are perfect for a kitchen. Look for front-loading washer/dryer units. When the wash load is done, the machine doubles as a dryer. While these washer/dryer combination units have been popular in Britain for years, they are becoming easier to find in appliance stores throughout the United States. Alternatively, there are space-saving units that have the washing machine on the bottom and the dryer sits over the top-loading washer.

Ranges provide the stove top and oven in one unit, and that saves space. Plus, many have storage drawers beneath the oven, so you have a great spot for storing baking sheets.

A dishwasher often seems like a splurge, but it eliminates the need for a draining rack in a sink or on a counter. They also make it easier to ensure that bacteria die during the longer wash in hot, soapy water.

Essential Decluttering

Decluttering is often harder than it seems. You pull out an item, only to find yourself reminiscing about special times when you used that item. Set clear goals before you start decluttering your kitchen. Decide what will fit with your minimalist plans and get rid of everything else.

If you use a small appliance once or twice a year, there's no reason to keep it. Only items that are used at least once a week should have a place in your minimalist kitchen. Cupboards with glass doors force you into avoiding clutter.

Innovative Space Savers

Even with a limited number of cupboards, there are innovative space savers suitable for kitchens. The wasted space under a cabinet is ideal for a coffee maker or lock radio. Magnetic strips on the wall are the perfect place to hang knives or metal spice jars. Save cupboard space by hanging your pots and pans from a pot rack that hangs from the ceiling or wall.

Necessary Small Kitchen Appliances

There are small appliances that speed up prep time. Keep them small enough so that they fit in a cupboard when they're not in use. Typically, the items that most people use daily or weekly include a coffeemaker, food processor, and microwave.

It's hard to store a microwave in a cupboard, but there's an easy way to save space. Choose a wall-mounted microwave that hangs over the oven/stove and saves space.

Remember with a minimalist kitchen that clutter is your biggest issue. Avoid temptation to add small appliances, dishes, and gadgets without removing something else first. Always make sure the counters are bare at the end of the day by putting everything you've used back into its appropriate place. By stopping clutter from building up, you retain the clean look of your minimalist kitchen.

Keyword: Live Virtual Reception Service - By C. Farnsworth

Here is an article written for a company that asked for a third-person article with the keyword mentioned at least once and US-English grammar/spelling. After completing it, the client told my son they wanted it revised, but never said what was wrong with it. When he asked, they never got back to him, so he feared they'd use his article without paying him. Given that, we're posting it before they can.

--------------------------

Companies, in today's economic climate, perform at their best when they can operate as efficiently as possible. This means, for many corporations, operating in a very automated manner, wherever something can in fact be automated. Desk reception is one area in the corporate world that lately has become highly automated and managed elsewhere, and for good reason. There are a great many advantages to implementing a live virtual receptionist service in any company, regardless of size.

Cost Effective

Cost is the first obvious advantage to having a live receptionist service that is automated. A virtual receptionist is capable of performing nearly any task that a traditional receptionist's job entails, but at a fraction of the price. A typical receptionist expects a hefty salary. Instead, a company may employ a virtual receptionist, and save thousands of dollars as a result.

Someone Always Answers

The benefits to using a virtual receptionist do not stop at price alone. Another benefit is overall satisfaction of both customers and fellow businessmen. Virtual receptionists offer a consistent experience during interaction, something difficult to maintain with an actual employee. Instead, a live virtual reception service offers security, and constant uptime. Customers never experience a dead tone with a virtual reception service. They can receive help or leave information for company officials at any time of day.

Customer Satisfaction

Customers also benefit greatly from a virtual reception service. Most have toll-free numbers, vastly increasing the number of potential clients such companies will have. Customers enjoy talking to live receptionists, studies show, because it makes them feel as though who they're calling truly cares. In addition to all this, virtual reception is typically guaranteed to be well-qualified in the area of the company they're servicing, as part of the contract. Customers get an experience that feels truly human, which can make all the difference.

Ease of Tracking Expenses
As most services are paid for on a per-minute basis, company officials can track their expenses in real-time. It's just as reliable as having a salaried employee, at a fraction of the cost.

24-Hour Access for Management

Finally, the company manager arguably benefits most of all from a live virtual reception service. Virtual reception ensures that company executives have access to calls at any time of day, and can view information collected by reception whenever they might need to.

There are overall a great many benefits to using a live virtual receptionist service, and that's why such services have become so popular. Any corporation valuing efficiency and quality should consider opting to automate and outsource their reception, and reap the benefits.

A new client didn't pay for either of these articles, so they're posted here now to prevent them from using them. Note that I dislike the length of the paragraphs in one, but it was their requirement.

SR-22.

Finding affordable car insurance quote is an issue for drivers after a DUI conviction. Law changes in 2007 make it harder for some to find (cheap SR-22 insurance in California). While DUI offenses and similar offenses once stayed on a driver's record for 7 years, laws changes increased that span to 10 years. If a driver's prior arrest had cleared from the records, it became reinstated and shows up for a full 10 years. Any public entity, including automobile insurance companies, have authorization to look up records before offering any insurance quotes. Drivers convicted of a driving offense suddenly face higher rates, and they must obtain a certificate for (SR-22 insurance in California). In addition, the loss of a driver's license has a huge impact on being able to get to and from work. Having an SR-22 in place is vital for drivers who need a car to get to a place of employment.

Per California's DUI laws, any adult with a blood alcohol concentration (BAC) of 0.08 or higher faces DUI charges. Zero-tolerance laws state drivers under the age of 21 only need a BAC of 0.01. Lawyers may try to get a driver's charges reduced with a wet reckless to avoid jail time, but both charges remain on a driver's record for 10 years. Both charges also require special proof of insurance coverage before the offender can drive again. When a driver is convicted for a DUI or a wet reckless, his or her insurance company must provide proof of insurance coverage through a California Insurance Proof Certificate, commonly known as an SR-22, to the state. This coverage needs to cover all cars driven regularly by that person, not just the cars he or she owns. Drivers need to make sure their insurance company has a full list of cars covered by (SR-22 insurance quotes in California). Without this certificate, a driver's license remains suspended and, if caught, driving on a suspended license leads to additional penalties. Getting coverage costs more money than many drivers expect to pay, so finding the lowest (SR-22 insurance quotes in California) often becomes very stressful.

Obtaining a California SR-22 is only possible by contacting a qualified insurance agent. Drivers explain the situation, and the company pulls up a copy of the driving records to view the case. Once the company pulls up the driver's records, they have the option of refusing coverage or offering (SR-22 insurance quotes in California). There is no guarantee that a current insurance company will continue to offer insurance to the driver. Other factors that help companies decide rates include marital status, past driving history, safety rating of the vehicle, age, and distance a driver uses the car daily to travel to work or school. Once a (California SR-22 insurance) certificate is issued, the company sends it to the California Department of Motor Vehicles electronically. Most drivers find that rates increase, but it isn't a guarantee. Shopping around for (cheap SR-22 insurance in California) is the best way for drivers to save money. For drivers who do find better rates, cancel the existing policy once the new policy takes effect.

No one plans to get arrested for driving under the influence, but bad things can happen to good people. Finding (California SR-22 insurance) doesn't have to be difficult. Once a person goes through a DUI arrest, it's imperative to contact insurance companies immediately to get the process started. With time to search for cheap insurance quotes, drivers are in a better position to compare prices and get a driver's license reinstated quickly. Contacting the right company, one who truly wants to help, ensures men and women of all ages find (SR-22 insurance in California).

Personal Finance:

Personal finance receives little attention in a high school's curriculum. Yet, it's during your formative teen years when financial acumen becomes vital. Your jobs, savings, and college debt all appear on your credit report and become part of your credit score. This little number dictates how much banks charge you in the future.

What is a Credit Score?

Three Credit Bureaus offer FICO credit scores: Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion. Your score is not the same with all three companies because each has its own scoring criteria. This number judges your ability to pay back debt. It calculates your income versus debt, arrest records, lawsuits, bankruptcies, and past payment history.

Credit scores range from 150 to 850. The higher the number, the better your score. Many financial institutions hesitate to lend to people with a credit score of less than 600. Those that do offer loans charge drastically higher interest rates. Bank loans are only the start of why your credit score matters. Poor credit makes it hard to buy a car, qualify for a college loan, or receive a credit card.

There are other reasons good credit is vital. Landlords use credit scores when choosing their tenants. If you pay bills on time, you're far more likely qualify for a rental than someone who's missed a payment or two. Employers often select new hires based on credit scores. In some states, Vermont is one, insurance companies use your credit score to calculate auto, home, and renter's insurance.

Breaking Down a Credit Score

According to Fair Isaac Corporation (FICO), this is the breakdown of a credit score:

35% of your score involves your payment history.
30% is the amount of money you owe on loans, mortgages, and credit cards.
15% is how long you've had a credit history.
10% is new debt you've accumulated recently.
10% is other factors like how many accounts you have open.

Actions that Change Your Credit Score

Every time a company views your credit report, it shows up as activity. Too many inquiries often lower scores slightly. Companies that often view credit reports before approving applications include cell phone carriers, insurance companies, car rental agencies, and financial institutions.

After paying off a credit card, don't cancel it. Having open credit on your report helps raise your score. Even though it is a slight increase, it's still an increase.

Improving Your Credit Score

Be proactive from the start and avoid getting a negative credit rating. If you use a credit card to purchase expensive items, pay off one before buying another. With college expenses, only charge what you really need. If you think a laptop is handy for class but it's not required, wait until you have money saved up.

If your credit score is low because of credit card debt, pick one card and make extra payments on it. Cut up the card so that you don't use it and get it paid off. Once you do, don't cancel it. Don't use the card again, but leave it there to show you made timely payments.

Catch up on unpaid bills. If you struggle to balance debt versus income, drop unnecessary items like cable television, expensive cell phone plans, and evenings out with friends.

Order free copies of your credit report every year and check them over carefully. Make sure the debt listed is, in fact, your debt. If there are errors, report them to the appropriate credit bureau immediately.

Casino Sample Written for Another Site

Someone asked me to write a sample and then said they no longer had money available to pay writers. I'm posting it to prevent them from stealing my work.

Play Lord of the Rings slots and feel like you've stepped into the Hollywood film. It's been around since 2010, but Microgaming decided to step things up in September 2011. The revised LOTR slot game features the same amazing features found in the original, but it adds in a selection of huge progressive jackpots. There's now the added bonus of winning one of four randomly awarded progressive jackpots and are worth at least €1 million.

While many aspects stand out as you play the game, it's the splendour of live film clips that really catch the player's attention. Watch scenes from the film while you spin the now transparent reels and wait for a win. With 243 ways to win, it's common to have one win after another.

Important Symbols in LOTR Slots

The gold ring is one of the best symbols in Lord of the Rings. When it appears at least three times on one payline, you win 15 free spins with a 2x multiplier. There are added surprises during free spin rounds that boost your prize amounts, but you'll learn about those later.

The Lord of the Rings log is worth up to 400 coins, but it's more important function is as a wild card. It's a stacked wild that helps turn losing spins into big winners. With the potential payout of 4,860,000 coins, there's lots of money waiting for lucky players.

LOTR Progressive Slots Introduces Gollum

Gollum is a new feature to the progressive slot game. He appears randomly throughout the game and the free spin rounds. You'll find him dumping buckets of cash into your winnings for no reasons or changing the reels to wild cards for fun.

He also appears during free spins and changes your multiplier or decides to hand you coins simply because he can. Start free spins with a 2x multiplier and watch as Gollum decides it isn't large enough and changes it to a 3x or higher.

Jackpot Levels

During game play, the bonus real may appear at any time. If it does, spin the reels and win one of the progressive jackpots. The four prize levels are worth:

Bronze starts at €10
Silver starts at €100
Gold starts at €10,000
Mithril starts at €1 million

Every time someone plays Lord of the Rings slots, the progressive jackpot amount increases. Even if you don't win the jackpot, during free spins, win up to 4.8 million coins. With many ways to win huge piles of coins, you won't want to miss Lord of the Rings slots.

Where You Can Play LOTR Slots

Play Lord of the Rings slots at most Microgaming Casinos. Be certain to take advantage of no deposit rewards that give you free cash simply for trying a casino for the first time or welcome bonuses that double or triple your first deposit.

These bonuses are the best way to try Microgaming's brilliant games without risking much of your own cash. Once you've played their games, you'll realize that Microgaming slots are the best games available. Prizes are more than generous and interactive bonus rounds ensure there is always a new experience waiting.

The Black Hand (Teen/Non-Fiction)

Released September 2009

www.harpercollins.com

Reviewed by Tracy Farnsworth

Truthfully, THE BLACK HAND is a non-fiction book aimed at adults, however I do feel it has tremendous benefit to many older teens. I live in a quiet family neighborhood, but I've become concerned in past years with teens around here glorifying gang life, saying how cool it would be to have that much power. Those teens, I think, would benefit from reading this book. Unlike the papers that most of those kids avoid, I know many would read this because the story comes from one of the Mexican Mafia's biggest players.

Chris Blatchford offers the biography of Rene "Boxer" Enriquez, a man who will spend his life in prison for murders and various other crimes committed while he was a member of the Mexican Mafia (La Eme.) It is because I've heard kids say how cool it would be that I think many teen readers might want to learn the cold, hard truth regarding gang life.

With this said, I wouldn't let teens read it without also having mom or dad read it. The book has rather graphic photographs, part of why I started reading it. One of the pictures involves the crime scene where a young mother and her two children, five and six months, lie dead. It's hard to make out the baby and you really don't see the other child, but just knowing they were killed in that room horrified me. What kind of monster kills a six month old child all because "dad" did wrong.

The book is powerful, gripping and definitely lets you in on a life that no person should live. I wouldn't recommend it for the younger crowd, but age 16 and up, I definitely think they could learn the stark truth about gang life.

Writing Samples

After high school, I worked for a summer in The Merchant Bank’s mortgage department helping process home appraisals, credit reports and mortgage loan applications. I went on to work for four years for an area travel agency before the travel industry began slowing down with the advent of the Internet and then for a print shop/bulk-mailing firm where I worked as the administrative assistant to the CEO.

I've broken my strengths into the following categories.

BOOK REVIEWING:

I have been an online book reviewer and freelance writer since 2001 and own my own book review website that has just switched to a children’s only format (http://roundtableforkids.blogspot.com/). Roundtable Reviews launched five years ago and receives more than 5,000 readers per month.

Not only do I manage the staff of reviewers and edit their reviews, but also I frequently update the Web site and respond to publisher and author emails on a daily basis.

In addition, I have completed a number of reviews for Publisher's Weekly.

http://www.publishersweekly.com/article/CA6597430.html?q=flat+out+sexy)

Flat-Out Sexy Erin McCarthy. Berkley Sensation, $14 paper (304p) ISBN 978-0-425-22407-6

McCarthy strays from her more recent Vegas Vampires series and heads to the world of racing for a steamy romance. Two years after Tamara Briggs's husband was killed in a wreck at Talladega, she's back to dating, but her latest beau is a dud. She dumps him and remains intent on not ending up with another race-car driver, but that's exactly what she gets when she meets Elec Monroe. Things progress quickly, and soon she's having dynamite sex with this younger man who's nice to her kids—who could ask for more? There's a catch of course: Elec is the son of Tamara's dead husband's father's sworn enemy. The narrative is fast-paced and red hot; fans of more graphic romances will enjoy this and welcome the next—a sequel is in the works. (Nov.)

As a book reviewer, I read all the time, quickly at that, and am quite used to summarizing material for the reviews. On average, I read one book per day. Right now, I’m taking a break and working through the Twilight Series per my daughter’s request.

I have interviewed many authors, including actor Billy Dee Williams.

http://www.theromancereadersconnection.com/aotm/authorofthemonthwilliamsatkinsbowman.html

Finally, I just completed my first job for Executive Book Summaries. The job entails condensing non-fiction business guides into 5,500 newsletter summaries the company mails to subscribers.
